Furbabies Delectable Delights was started by trained chef, Angela Riservato. She is also owner to her trusted companions Mia, Picasso, & Dolce - her special "furbabies". Angela holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing & worked in the hospital setting for 10 years. When her fourth child was born she hung up her stethoscope & became a full time mom where she was always cooking for her family as well as making sure there were ample treats on hand for the family pet as well as the kids' numerous school bake sales. When her youngest child was in middle school, Angela went back to culinary school to perfect the skills she had gained over the years. Once out of school she worked in the restaurant industry & then started her own personal chef business. Angela is a member in good standing of the American Maltese Association, www.americanmaltese.org , The Arizona Human Society, www.azhumane.org , & the ASPCA, www.aspca.org .

The concept for Furbabies Delectable Delights came to fruition when the scares started surfacing in 2007 regarding tainted rice & wheat gluten harming peoples' precious companions. "The thought of somethiing harming our furbabies was very frightening", says Angela. "Developing treats that contain all-natural, human-grade ingredients & are void of preservatives, by-products, salt, artificial ingredients or colors, & sugar is something that is very important to us. We bake treats for our clients just like we were baking treats for Mia, Picasso, & Dolce."

JOHN: Not only is he Angela's husband, but he is Furbabies  Delectable Delights'
human treat taster.  Every treat gets tasted by him before they  are sampled by our canine connoisseurs!

MIA:  Mia  is the oldest of our treat tasters.  She is an 8 1/2 yr. old maltese who
loves  to give her "woof" of approval on all of the Furbabies Delectable Delights' goodies.  When the timer goes off on one of the ovens, she  comes running to see what tasty treat she will be trying next!

PICASSO:  Picasso is an 8 year old maltese who lets everyone know that he is the alpha dog & must sample the goodies before either of his sisters. He stays
close to the kitchen & when he sees the rolling pin come out, the  treats are
just around the corner!

DOLCE: Dolce is the baby of the family. She is a 2 year old Pomeranian who, even though  she is the youngest, makes sure her vote counts just as much as her older siblings!

Today, pets are no longer considered property; they are regarded as part of the family. At Furbabies Delectable Delights we bake our treats to follow suit with this concept. You will NEVER find ingredients such as grain sorghum, BHA (a preservative), meat by-product, smoke flavoring, or yellow dye #6 in our treats. Our main goal is to simply provide dog & cat treats that are all-natural, wholesome, & great tasting without a laundry list of ingredients or ingredients that are too difficult to pronounce.
